  KH = Private Property (No Trespassing sign)... wtf?

  do other churches have "no trespassing" signs on the grounds?.

  i don't recall ever seeing "private property - no trespassing" signs on other churches, especially ones that have a priest or minister available at all hours, or ones that offer space for community services or other kinds of events.. i wonder whether there is some kind of legal expectation of a charitable organization that pays no taxes to offer access for community services in order to maintain their tax free status.. anyone else ever see signs like this on kh property?.

  I got my "NO RELIGIOUS BODIES" sign last week, with a huge red hand......

  2 sisters called on me yesterday, saw the sign, and knocked anyway.

  Clearly, it doesnt apply to them!

  However, I turned up my Yngwie Malmsteen CD, blasted out "Rising Force", and they were down the steps within 10 seconds.

  Yngwie Malmsteen. Every home should have one!

  My father's funeral

  last week i attended my father's funeral in hobart.

  i was the first time i have been in a kingdom hall in several years, and many years since i had attended the hall of my childhood, but felt like it was just yesterday.

  the funeral talk was quite a departure from normal, so worth writing about.

  'Apostates' being labelled 'mentally diseased'. Is discrimination against mentally disabled people by using it as a 'hate crime' term?

  sorry if i'm not expressing myself very well but i wasn't allowed an education due to wbt$ regulations.. what i'm trying to say is that the wbt$ using the term 'mentally diseased' as an insulting term against those fictitious 'apostates' they want everyone to 'hate', is surely very discriminatory against those that have a genuine mental illness.. it's like calling a white person that has caught a suntan the 'n' word isn't it?

  offensive, inappropriate and utterly destructive.. in the uk the press can be pretty sensitive about such name calling that implies that mental disease is somehow to be used as a hate crime word.. is it worth writing to the press to complain about such discrimination?.

  Was today's WT study an indictment of us who still attend the KH?

  given the interest shown in today's wt study, i got to thinking that the society knows many of us still attend meetings.

  the wording of today's lesson doesn't allude only to outsider's breaking in with their filthy apostate literature and tv interviews but also to satanic insider's working the faithful sheep in the pen.. we've discussed on other threads how jwn and like sites appear to be monitored.

  of course, the society's literature never clues the reader in on what exactly apostates teach nor how we infiltrators do our clandestine work of sabotaging the sheep's faith.. any thoughts?.

  we have had an issue come to a head in this household of mine.

  after getting to the bottom of my parners intentions i have given her an ultimatum knowing all too well she will choose the jws over myself and family.

  I really hope things work for you. You sound like a nice guy. Can you really wait another 2/3/4/5 years hanging on in the vain hope she MAY change her mind? Or will you start proceedings now regarding your son?

  I think shes in a dark place mentally right now, sitting alone for hours with the WT and her bible.......she sounds like shes living in her head. So much for the joy of the JWs eh.......I wish I could help you. I dont know what to say. Im sorry. I hope you get away with your boy x
